This is turning out to be the mother of all HOAXES! If you are right, you are a genius. If you are wrong...a huge # of people die. Sarcasm. Too dark?

I'm worried for the lower wage service workers who because of a few weeks or a month without pay from a restaurant closing (for example) could throw them into a financial tail spin not of their making. That kind of thing can snow-ball economically as well. Today's Washington broadcast news conference had POTUS and others indicating that this situation could potentially continue to as far out as August(!). This is a good link with A LOT of great FAQ (and other) information about this bug from the Harvard Medical School: www.health.harvard.edu/diseases-and-conditions/coronavirus-resource-centerStay well everyone - and wash your hands and don't touch your face!

Time will tell.
It's interesting to note that the Sealed Indictment map of the USA by State mimic the 'infected' coronavirus map by State. Do you believe in coincidences?
Ah! So "Covfefe" was no typo after all!

I'm trying to figure out why they closed the schools in my area for 2-3 weeks. Not 1 confirmed case... This is mind boggling. It is an effective measure, since the virus has a 14 day incubation period, and if people, during that time, practice Social Distancing, the pace of the spread can be slowed. Social Distancing, along with hand washing and not touching one's face, are the the measures that slow the spread so when people who are infected need treatment beds are available. If nobody reads anything else I post, please look at this: Thats it, I've got the virus 😱😱😱 per the mathematics. 😂😂😂

Hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine At 5 cents/pill could be the answer, developed during WWII for soldiers in Asia. Many Americans take it with them traveling to Asia. But it will be ignored so Big Pharma makes $Billions.

According to the CDC there were 61,000 deaths from flu in 2017-2018, a record number. So a silly graphic says nothing.

www.thelakewoodscoop.com/news/2020/03/covid-19-hashem-creates-the-cure-before-the-illness-ron-benvenisti.htmlFolks, I've believe this whole thing is overhyped, no one's going to change my view without more PROOF. There is a cure for covid19 already and CDC is ignoring it. The US gov't created it in 1945 for US soldiers in Asia. READ THE ARTICLE. I've studied holistic living for most of my adult life and the author hits some big points most people will not catch unless they understand holistic living. One HUGE point is body pH of 7-7.5 is a MUST to fight disease. People with pH of 7-7.5 don't get cancer and that's a FACT (there may be exceptions due to environmental) Your health all comes down to OXIDATIVE Stress. That's why anti-oxidants are talked about all the time.

That's why anti-oxidants are talked about all the time. We got to be careful with misinformation. The body controls its own blood PH levels. You are not able to change the ph value of the body by ingesting substances (like alkaline water for instance). This whole alkaline thing is based on fake science. There's no fact that people with a ph of 7-7.5 don't get cancer. Normal blood PH is 7.35-7.45. Clearly people in this range (which is almost everybody) get cancer regularly. My suggestion is that if somebody posits something as true, look at the true experimental evidence performed. Because if it's ever a miracle cure, they better have some proper scientific proof.

You need to take reports like this in the proper context... The only treatment for the coronavirus itself is for your body's own immune system to fight it off... So the only real treatment for the virus, once you get it, is to help you stay alive until your body can fight it off. However, it's not the virus itself that will hurt you, but the symptoms it causes you... So, for example, oxygen therapy helps you if you're sick, because it helps your body get the oxygen it needs even if your breathing is compromised. This not only keeps you from dying, but helps your body to remain stronger, so it is better able to fight off the virus on its own... So, yes, if you get sick, oxygen therapy will probably help you get better faster, and reduce the odds of dying before you get the chance to recover. (Which is why people with serious cases of pneumonia or other breathing problems are routinely put on oxygen or hooked up to a respirator.) We often tend to oversimplify things... For example, we equate "people with compromised immune systems" with "people with no immune systems"... The reality is that virtually everyone has an immune system that is at least partially functional and can fight off a virus like CoVid-19... People with NO immune systems live their lives in a giant hamsterball... (People whose immune system is deliberately destroyed, for example before a bone marrow transplant, spend those few weeks in absolute isolation.) If someone with a weak immune system gets the virus, it takes them longer to fight it off, and they suffer worse symptoms. This increases their chances of dying from the symptoms, or of getting a secondary infection like Pneumonia, which could kill them... However, even if someone has a weak immune system, the treatment is still mostly "supportive treatment"... (Which is a fancy way of saying "keep them alive until their immune system kicks in and fights off the virus".) At the moment, we have no effective vaccine for CoVid-19 and, by all reports, so far no anti-virals that have been found to help... So at the moment there is no "direct treatment"... However, I'm sure that will change, and I'm sure many companies are working on vaccines... Incidentally... for some positive news... Have you heard that the death rates from several major types of cancer are DOWN for 2019? (And, in case you missed the news, there are now TWO vaccines for Ebola...) Any truth to this? My mother is receiving news from Korea from other relatives that Korea has now successfully treated the Coronavirus using, of all things, Oxygen therapy. I told my mother to be analytical and don't fall for cons or scams asking for money: www.sgtreport.com/2020/02/south-korea-says-its-successfully-treating-coronavirus-patient-with-natural-oxygen-therapy/This article is dated back a month but she's receiving reports from Korean relatives today. Looking for "breaking news" if there's any. Meanwhile, I see certain studies are underway in the U.S. abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/study-begins-us-test-coronavirus-treatment-69208901Clip from above ABC article: "Doctors give patients fluids and pain relievers to try to ease the symptoms, which can include fever, cough and shortness of breath. In the case of those who are severely ill, doctors use ventilators to help them breathe or a machine that pumps and oxygenates their blood outside the body, easing the burden on the heart and lungs." And another article: www.coronavirustoday.com/coronavirus-breaking-news/#/kevzara-may-help-covid-19-patients"On March 16, 2020, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Sanofi announced they have started a clinical program evaluating Kevzara® (sarilumab) in patients hospitalized with severe COVID-19 infection. Kevzara is a fully-human monoclonal antibody that inhibits the interleukin-6 (IL-6) pathway by binding and blocking the IL-6 receptor. IL-6 may play a role in driving the overactive inflammatory response in the lungs of patients who are severely or critically ill with COVID-19. The role of IL-6 is supported by preliminary data from a single-arm study in China using another IL-6 receptor antibody."

If you want to spend the $$$.... A buddy of mine had a pair of speakers painted by a friend who paints cars... Car paint is very tough and resists scratches and chips very well... And it comes in your choice of custom colors... But it IS quite expensive... Nice job, and looks great. My cabinets are Behr paint color “Ultra Pure White” and when I get to the walls they’ll be “Graycloth”. Hardware from Amazon, and for those that may be planning this in the future, a Black & Decker Mouse electric sander saves you lots of ache muscles after sanding. Question, I'm a little nervous about my decision to paint the cabinets because normal use has chipped or scratched the painting off to the point where I can see the dark under base. Are you using a clear coat over the paint? I'm thinking I might end up spending for a clear coat. Tomorrow I plan to finish the cabinets. I'll touch up what has shown use after only a week of the paint curing. I used an oil paint for FYI. Something that wasn't available in CA. The oil paint has a nice way of sticking to just about everything. The reason I used the color I did was because of the open floor plan where the Tekton Design speakers painted in Benjamin Moore silver half dollar reside. I wanted a way to pull the colors together. Like you I found the Amazon hardware to be the best value. I'm going to start the last of the kitchen cabinets tomorrow and plan to be done by Wed. Then one bathroom left. When you stated what you did about finishing the cabinets I wondered for a moment whether you were mocking me because of the extreme coincidence lol. Glad I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Happy finishing! Enjoy, William

The neighborhood's setting up a bunch of folks who can bring stuff to those who can't (or shouldn't) go out at all. We've at least one 93 year old lady living on her own, for example. She shouldn't be in the Wal-Mart press of folks, so she's doing what we've all started doing - Place our grocery orders online - send a single (young & healthy) volunteer to pick them all up, and then distribute them to the neighbors. Volunteer gets a free tank of gas and his choice of bored & randy housewives to shag. Working like a charm so far...

I think that "successfully treated" means more like "significantly decreased the mortality rate or shortened the average time for recovery". Sometimes we expect too much from modern medicine... Even with an effective vaccine, and effective treatments, quite a few people still die from the Flu... (And people sometimes get Pneumonia for no obvious reason... and some of them die too.) But, by and large, a LOT LESS people die from it now than did in the past... Define "successfully treat". Because you can do many things to try and improve your (overall health) so that your immune system is strenghtend, which in turn allows it to fight off infections, bacteria, virus etc. So... eat healthy. Lots of fresh veggies, drop the sugary drinks and fast food, reduce your intake of milk and milk products. Increase your intake of vit c, zinc (don't overdose this!), fresh air (and yes, sunshine too). Note that none of that is "curing" or "treating" anything and if you're sick definitely GET HELP, but yes it will improve your overall health and your ability to fight off this virus, or the seasonal flu etc. By "successfully treating" I think it would mean that patients 100% recovered while receiving care provided. Of course Politifact already touched upon this subject. Ironically, the study in Nebraska underway which is "treating" patients with Oxygen therapy must not receive their science from Politifact. By successfully treat I don't think meant a "cure" especially a forever cure as Politifact stated because microbes evolve. As far as eat healthy etc I agree 100% with you. Saw a meme recently and I chuckled at the grocery store yesterday when the meme came to mind. The meme illustrated what people think important. The entire paper section of TP was empty as well as processed or preserved canned food but the fresh vegetables and fruits or produce section looked untouched being fully stocked. Amazing how man ailments may be "treated" with eating right and exercising. Likewise, how many people want to treat the symptom rather than the cause of becoming ill to begin with. Not saying that all illness are caused by unhealthy life styles but we should at least give our own natural immune systems a chance to fight off some of these illnesses. Enjoy, William
