I emailed harmony customer support and requested they look into adding it to the database. Might help if a few others do the same. I will post if I get a response.

Well I got an email response from Logitec today. Basic form letter, Sorry about the issue with your harmony remote BLA bla bla. Continued by giving me instructions on the learning capabilities. Looks like we will have to wait.

Don't some manufacturers use the same code for multiple devices? I wonder if the LMC-1 discrete codes would work for the UMC-1?

I have a contact in the Harmony remote division of Logitech. I have asked him for a contact or procedure in case this will help Lonnie further with getting products added in the future.

On November 11, Lonnie replied to my query about UMC-1 codes for the Harmony One. He said "The codes are in process of being sent to Harmony now."
This should answer some of your concerns.

David I hope Lonnie can follow up with a post saying when they are sent. This way we can start emailing Harmony everyday ;D

Hey guys. My father just picked one of these up and wanted the remote to work with his Harmony 720. The USP-1 codes are indeed in their directory, but not where you might think. I had the same problem with my Audio Refinement Pre 5. The USP-1 codes are listed under Amplifier section and then select USP-1. The codes work just fine as I am able to fully control the USP-1 with the provided codes from the Harmony database. I will give Emotiva a call on Monday when they open since they when my father spoke with Lonnie the other day he said that the Harmony codes were still not posted. So it appears that Emotiva is unaware that their codes are posted probably because they continue to check the preamplifier section where they should be vs the amplifier section which is where they are. If any of you guys have problems finding the codes let me know and I will make a screenshot guide as to where I found the codes. Good luck programming your remotes and I hope this helps you folks who like my father wanted their Harmony to work with the USP-1 with minimal manual programming.

I too can confirm the misplaced USP-1 remote codes on the Harmony Database. No UMC-1 though.

What's the big deal? With so few buttons, it would only take a few minutes to transfer the commands manually. And, I believe this is how it works (but I am not sure); once one user has programmed and stored the profile correctly, a similar profile is then available for all other Logitech users.

I just got off the phone with Harmony Tech Support for a separate issue and I just happened to ask them about the UMC-1 in their database. The rep on the phone looked it up and told me that it was indeed in the database.

The big deal is how are you going to program a video selector button that just toggles. Emotiva has to supply Harmony with discreet codes for each input for us Harmony users to program the different inputs.

Well I hate to say it but he was wrong. The UMC-1 is not in the database. I am merely passing on what I was told by Harmony Tech Support. They have no reason to lie to me. Also, just because the information is not available through the software does not mean that Harmony does not have the information in their database.
