My Pleasure, I am a Denon Fan. I am currently using a 5700 that is 10+ yrs old. and it's impressively impressive (bending the grammar here a bit). This Particular Denon is just the cream of the crop, and the warmth of the Denon Sound with it's impressive pkg is just unbeatable. Good luck buddy My first Denon which turned my world upside down was the 5600, what beast but at the time I purchased it did not have plain vanilla dts, there were a few mods to get dts capability. Then Denon introduced some sort of upgrade, but it was wiser to just get the Mighty 5700. I gotta agree the warmth out those early Flag ships were simply fantastic. Dan

Now that is NICE. With all that effort, is there a reason you don't have at least one chair dead center? Yeah he could put the second chair behind him, or better yet one of those cool Bunk Chairs like that both get to see the same view Djoel

I love the clean lines, and color scheme none intrusive, just relaxing to what's on the screen.
Great job.

Well you get a Dac which you can use with something like a Mac mini as I would, and Head Phono amps, I read it's pretty capable amp so for some it's huge step up from the 103.
Congrats on the new player, she a beauty.

Modwright is awesome I owned the 36.9 if I recall the name correctly a few years back, it sound silky smooth, another one is Belles A1 pre amp with is super cool as well, HT feature and two Phono outs where you can use two different cartridges MM, MC. Tube pre amps are great, as a pose to Tube Amp. Just my opinion.

Saw it at the theaters Imax, and enjoyed the heck out it, I went without and little expatiation, and that all. There are few parts that make you think, now why would you did that, but you gotta remember its a movie, preconceived by someone other than destiny and that's how you gotta look at it....
Great flick

Yup that's what I have locking banana on Acoustic Zen Epoch cables on the Amp side and spade on the speaker side which works when I move the speakers around, and for the rears I also have banana but just the regular types, Main Speaker Spade plugs These are my center cables but as you can see these are locking banana on both sides.

Wow allots of vinyl talk these days, I can think of a few members to blame for the sudden surge of vinyl-mania. But I gotta say is that getting into it is a personal thing, ritual for sure but it's so rewarding with out a doubt. Sure it can be expensive, extensive task at times, but that's part of the experience, and seeking that level of SQ is why we're into this hobby of ours. It isn't for everyone, but there's a reason this media refuses to dye, and new press of great old music are always being release. If you do the research you can easily know what are the rip off digital records, and which are the paid load analogue dreams that we're after.
Like I said it can be expensive, but it doesn't have to be if you do you're research and start if a nice entry Table, like what I started with Pro-Ject Debut 3, that brought enormous joy, at a relatively price. I purchased the table used under 300, along with phono stage from the same company. I change the cart and I was spinning, listening to Jazz, Blues, Rock, Eights Nu-wave, and I was having a blast. The cleaning process became part of the ordeal, which I didn't really mind, what I did mind was pops, crackles..And something buying a record that wasn't playable from thrift shop, or the corner use books, crap seller..I also enjoy the thrill of the hunt as well finding gems, at stores that where going out of business, or shutting down there music department etc..Fun times, but with some work, and trials for sure..
Good luck

I've heard the closest to JC1 at a significant lower price are the XPA1's from a good friend who had them both, I just can't recall if they were at the same time. I do know that he kept the Parasound, but it wasn't because the XPA-1 lacked in any way..I bought my self a pair because of his high recommendation of the Emotiva mono amps, and they did an incredible job with the speaker I owned at the a pair of B&W 802N's.
Mono amps are special creatures, in doing wonderful things to your system removing one less veil out from the fronts. Whether widening the sound stage, highlighting the highs, and sparkling midrange, and feeding the hungry bass drivers, all this adds to the magic, at low volumes, and you can definitely hear at high distortion free raw tapping volumes..
I've a few mono's from Classe', Cary, Outlaw, and Emotiva, and my two favorites where the Cary, which cost about 8K, and the Emotivas at 2K, and the difference are extreamly small.
Good luck

There's an Enya song, I think it's call Tall Ships or something like it that is great as well. Jaco Pastorius of course for those fast mid low bass.
