I had a JVC, I think it was what we called Super VHS? Is this what we're talking about a S-VHS?

Me personally was a little disappointed when not one word said about this processor st the CEO 16 .There were blurbs here and there then in one of the largest platforms nothing? I got that sinking feeling, oh well it's not life changing at all but ever once and while you want some excitement.
Hope to hear something by summer if not life goes on.

Citizen Kane: Welles' signature roll. Roll of the dice will be with the clown candidates. Should have been: Roll the dice, clown candidates.

Let be known Emotiva Customer Support is superb, second to none in my opinion!! It's not my place to divulge exactly how Emotiva has taken care of this situation but suffice it to say they have gone way above and beyond the call of duty. I'm impressed. One individual suggested I open the XMC-1 to check for loose ribbon cables from shipping, turns out this was the issue with the second one received. I feel bad not taking this suggestion now, it would have save a lot of trouble and expense for all concerned. Live and learn. Apologies for not investigating further. New XMC-1 on the way. My maxim is "judge me not by my lack of errors, but how I handle them should they occur." Correct, if CS gets under my skin or do not fallow through 9 times out of ten I'm gone. Never has been the case with Emotiva though, I've had one issue with an XPA-1 mono, I purchased it use from a local Emotiva member and from from the response of the CS lady that amp must have gone around if you get my Griff! That didn't matter the warranty was under my name NOW, and she belong to me and only me now, they took care of me and all was right again. Nice to see you around these part Jeff, this forum just got a little bit more interesting with all your know how. Welcome Dan.

djoel - I think dbPoweramp is a better ripper. To me, I saw no reason to use Jriver in any part of the ripping process. Thanks Goose, I was looking for a clean method of ripping, with not so much jumping from one program to another. What I'm trying to say, I thought they worked together some how. It's perhaps why in my little head, I like JRiver as it seems no fuss, a few steps ripping. Cheers Dan

I have a ripping, migrating from one hhd to another questions.
I didn't want to start a new thread about this subject.
I'm backing 750gb of music from one hard drive to another, I started doing this last night about 12 am, I got up about 7.00 am and noticed it was still going, but about to finish maybe 26 minutes to go, made some breakfast 30 later I noticed it looks like it was starting all over again? So I paused it to do some investigation, and see if I'm duplicating it the files, which I would really hate. Now I'm thinking if the 750gb didn't actually take 6 hours to copy, clone or what ever is the term.
Another question, about dbPowerAmp, I noticed there are more than one software I down loaded, one might be a converter? It's in my HTPC at the moment and I don't recall exact name, but I've read of people converting their music from let's say MP3, to flac? Is this what the converter is use for? If so how well does it do the conversion, any drawbacks if it's even possible with dbPowerAmp?
Thanks
Dan

Sure Atmos capable, as well as Auro but why stop at 12 Channels, would rather 16 or so.

dbPoweramp for ripping JRiver for playing Can you integrate the two, where you can rip with dbPower, and watch the motion of the rip via Jriver. In my head I feel I wouldn't have the same control using any other ripping software, than just using Jriver. Thanks Djoel

Not technically purchased but... I just won this Ray remote over a Home Theater Movie & Music page on Face book, it was HAND deliver to my NYC office by one of their employee, So far it's fantastic, well I'm programming it now but it's so intuitive and easy that it's a joy...What's taking longer is getting my wife out the living so I can finish programming it! I'm going to start a thread later once all is done, amazing little device. View AttachmentView AttachmentIf you guys like to join the group just like their page, fun folks on their. At this point I'm just hoping to see an official announcement within the first quarter. Sadly if we don't see anything now at a huge stage such as CES, and there isn't a hint of it then I don't think we'll see it first quarter!
