I gave an 8, it wasn't perfect but it was a heck of a great Sci-fi film with a great story. The first 1,2,3 were plain garbage compare to this one.

Hey thanks for the nicely detailed response , and vote of confidence. Very happy it can be done, odd you don't hear/read more about doing so. I've seen multiple passive speakers wired in parallel as such but never subs. I have a splitter or two at home, I should just plugged them together and connect the one end to the XMC-1 and wallah? Of course with the trims, all and necessary intricacies in tacked on the subs If there are any guides write up with pictures , links , or schematics I'll take them. Thanks again Danny

Hello folks, don't know if I should have just posted this over at the Stupid Question thread, but I'll ask here and see where it gets me.
I purchased a pair of SVS of SB12-NSD sub over the Black Friday sale to put at opposite corners but it appears my Wife commandeer one of the corner for her knitting items. So I stacked the two subs in one corner, and that's were the great idea came from of some how running the pair as if it was one sub with dual drivers!
Considering everything is set correctly, volume, phase, low pass, etc.. Is there a way I could or should wire the subs together?
What mostly concerns me is this is an active unit, so the power amp in thing can cause some cancelation of some sorts, or any 101 unknown can be amiss here!
That's why I'll ask first, but would love to hear if it can be done, or is it common practice that I have not heard of, yet.
Thanks
Danny

OK lets see if this works and the photo appear, but they're finally home. Question, does SVS has an upgrade path program? I thought I read they did, but do see it in their web site any longer.
Dan Guess that didn't work, but will work on it when I get home later tonight.

What ever you do avoid Netgear, their customer service sucks big. I would provide you with model, and my raw review over at Amazon but I'm holding a 5 month old baby that's quite rumbosiou. Really? My experience with them was top notch on multiple occasions. It has been a year since the last time. PM me a link to your Amazon review... Would love to read up! Mark We've been having some frustrating moments with the darn thing, and CS doesn't seem to help or know much. Will pm you later, but i have yo warm you it's pretty buligrant as i couldn't take it. Lol

Any amplifier of your choosing will function fine. As long as it is connected by the RCA connection type, which most consumer gear is by the way, and most Pro gear allows RCA as well as Balanced to connect your components of choice. The biggest question once done, what music or movie do you play. Are you saying hooking up the pro amp with rca along would shut the pro amp off??? Dan

This looks interesting too Chris, will be looking into this device as well. Are you using pro amps too? Dan

Hey Dan - I have 2 Crown XLS-1000 amps and have an XLS-1500 showing up on Tuesday. I use a smart strip to turn them on and off - the Sherbourn activates the smart strip just fine. Get one with an adjustable sensitivity if you are going to get one. It may cost a few more bucks but are more adaptable than non-adjustable strips. Some AVRs and AVPs use too much power in standby and the strip does not shut off power to the controlled outlets. Thank you Ken, I was trying to avoid the smart strip thingy, I guess there's no way around it with pro-amps. I'll do some research on the smart strips, and remove the ones I currently have. Cheers Dan
